Evolution of Recycling

IMPAKTOR 250 EVO II

More than 1,500 units of the mobile twin-shaft shredder have already been delivered over the last few years. Our goal is to keep the successful IMPAKTOR brand marketable and future-proof. For this reason, the twin-shaft shredder developed into the successor model IMPAKTOR 250 evo in 2018 and received the next significant evolutionary leap in 2022, the IMPAKTOR 250 evo II.

In addition to numerous possible uses for construction and demolition waste, the mobile shredder is also suitable for processing railway sleepers, rhizomes, old and fresh wood, tires, household and commercial waste and many other applications.

Focus on outstanding properties

Reduced transport and working height

Due to the reduced transport height to approx. 255 cm, sea container collections are possible without dismantling the hopper walls and the maximum loading height for trucks is generally not exceeded.

Schnellwechselsystem fĂĽr Werkzeugwellen

Revised quick-change cassette

The improved quick-change cassette ensures a significantly longer operating time as the pressure during the crushing process is no longer exerted on the fastening bolts, but on the entire machine.

Manually insertable waveform plates

By inserting or removing the plates, the gap width may be modified and thus the final grain size adjusted. In case of worn cutting blades, the plate can be rotated and reinserted several times.

Our shredders in action

Our application videos impressively illustrate the technical superiority of ARJES IMPAKTOR machines and at the same time show how versatile they are in practice. Whether in demanding construction site operations or in daily work on recycling plants – the machines impress with their fast operational readiness, as conversions can be carried out in the shortest possible time and without great effort. Their high mobility enables flexible use even in rough terrain, while operation takes place at a practical noise level – robust but controlled. The powerful shredding is complemented by an intelligent material separation system: integrated magnetic separators and adjustable screen baskets ensure precise separation and a clean final fraction.

See for yourself why our IMPAKTOR machines are in daily use by professionals throughout Europe.

ATTACHMents

With a wide range of optional attachments, the IMPAKTOR 250 EVO II can be tailored even more precisely to specific requirements and materials. Whether for fine separation, targeted fractionation or to increase the sorting quality – the add-on components significantly expand the range of functions of the compact twin-shaft shredder and ensure even more efficient material recovery.

Particularly noteworthy are the optional overbelt magnets, which are used to separate ferrous metals from the material flow – optionally in a longitudinal or transverse design, depending on the spatial situation and material flow. Various screening technology solutions are available for granulometric separation, including disk screens, finger screens, cleated belts and the classic screen basket. These enable targeted classification into different fractions and significantly improve the end product quality.

The IMPAKTOR 250 EVO II, which is frequently used in mobile construction site operations, plays a key role in the quick and tool-free integration of attachments. The selection of the right accessories depends on the material being processed, the desired grain size target and the operating conditions.

With the right accessories, the IMPAKTOR 250 EVO II develops into a perfectly coordinated system – powerful, flexible and future-proof for every challenge in the field of mobile shredding.

Sieve basket

The IMPAKTOR 250 EVO II offers a decisive advantage in daily use thanks to the option of controlling the end product using different screen baskets. The optional sieve basket is located underneath the shredding unit and has a significant influence on the grain size and quality of the output material. This allows the machine to be perfectly adapted to different requirements – regardless of whether coarse waste wood, mineral building materials or finer fractions are to be processed in the recycling process.

Sieve baskets with different mesh sizes are available for different areas of application, such as for wood (e.g. 110Ă—100 mm), concrete (e.g. 110Ă—60 mm or 110Ă—40 mm) or electronic waste (e.g. 50Ă—50 mm, 40Ă—40 mm, 30Ă—30 mm – on request). The baskets can be changed without tools and in just a few minutes – a decisive advantage for companies that work with changing materials or fraction specifications.

In conjunction with the flexible twin-shaft system, this creates a highly efficient material flow with a controlled end product – whether as a directly usable secondary raw material, for further processing or as standard-compliant recycling material. The use of sieve baskets not only optimizes the throughput, but also the quality of the output – and thus ultimately the economic efficiency of the entire shredding process.

Available shafts

The IMPAKTOR 250 EVO II is not only compact and powerful, but also exceptionally versatile in its shaft configuration. The modular twin-shaft system is the heart of the machine and is decisive for the efficiency and final result of the shredding process. Specially developed shaft types are available for different types of material – including concrete shafts, paddle shafts, wood shafts and combination shafts – which can be exchanged quickly and easily depending on requirements.

Thanks to the proven quick-change system, the shaft pairs can be changed in no time at all without the need for time-consuming disassembly work. This allows the machine to react flexibly to changing locations and material conditions – be it construction waste, waste wood, rubber, mixed waste or even light metals. The robust design of the shafts ensures a long service life, while the targeted adjustment to the shredded material enables a uniform particle size and high throughput.

This flexibility makes the IMPAKTOR 250 EVO II the ideal solution for companies that frequently work with different materials or require quick changeover times in their day-to-day business. Whether stationary or mobile in use – with the right pair of shafts, one machine becomes a real all-rounder.
