The heart of the machine is the powerful Volvo Penta engine with 585 kW / 795 hp, which, together with the new Bonfiglioli transmission with 350,000 Nm of torque, ensures maximum shredding power. By comparison, this is roughly equivalent to the power of over 1,000 mid-size cars starting up – combined in a single drive system. Whether scrap, waste wood, rubber, or mixed waste – the IMPAKTOR 1100 processes the material efficiently, powerfully, and reliably.

As with the Impaktor 850, the IMPAKTOR 1100 also features a specially developed, hydraulically opening cover with an integrated suction system. This not only allows quick access to the drive unit for maintenance and service, but also ensures extremely quiet operation – even under full load – thanks to sophisticated airflow and effective sound insulation. Noise is a thing of the past – the IMPAKTOR 1100 demonstrates how powerful and quiet recycling can be.
The machine thinks for itself: The proven hydraulic system allows for quick opening of the cover, and shaft replacement is carried out without tools in record time. Complemented by the advanced reversible fan and the new cooling system, the unit remains thermally stable even under continuous load – despite a total weight of 38,000 kg.
The optionally available tangential plate tool and the intelligent magnet system (longitudinal/transverse) not only increase throughput but also ensure optimal separation results for ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Enclosed conveyor belts and robust components ensure low maintenance and maximum availability.
