IMPAKTOR 350 EVO II

With the IMPAKTOR 350 EVO II, ARJES Impaktor GmbH is expanding its successful series of mobile twin-shaft shredders. Based on the proven platform of the IMPAKTOR 250 EVO II, the IMPAKTOR 350 EVO II has been specifically developed for applications where more power is required without compromising on compactness and flexibility. This makes it the ideal choice for construction companies, waste disposal firms and recycling companies that want to process harder materials efficiently.

The biggest innovation of the IMPAKTOR 350 EVO II is probably its drive system. Depending on market requirements, there are two powerful Volvo Penta engine variants to choose from: The TAD 583 VEwith 175 kW (238 hp) meets the strict EU Stage V emissions standard and is ideal for the European market. For international use (rest of the world), the IMPAKTOR 350 EVO II is equipped with the TAD 551 VE, a robust engine that meets the Stage III A standard. This delivers 160 kW (218 hp) and offers maximum reliability even under demanding conditions. Both engines stand for efficiency, durability and excellent fuel economy in daily use.

In addition to its engine power, the IMPAKTOR 350 EVO II impresses with its sophisticated design and modular construction. The combination of chain drive and hook lift mount ensures maximum mobility – whether in urban areas, on construction sites or in rough terrain. With a total weight of around 14 tons, the shredder remains easy to transport and can be moved flexibly to the job site. This makes the IMPAKTOR 350 EVO II suitable for both short-term use and continuous stationary operation.

A highlight of the IMPAKTOR 350 EVO II is the tried-and-tested quick-change shaft system, which is already used on other ARJES models. It enables the shredding shafts to be replaced quickly without the need for time-consuming dismantling work. Depending on the type of material – such as concrete, wood, rubber, used tires or mixed construction waste – different shaft types and sieve baskets can be used. This means that the machine can be optimally adapted to changing requirements in just a few minutes.

Throughput performance:

The performance data given are average values without guarantee! The real values depend on the equipment of the shredder, the shaft configuration, the position of the counter rakes and the optimal material feed.

The integration of an overbelt magnet, which efficiently removes ferromagnetic components from the material flow, ensures the smooth separation of recyclable materials. The shredding unit is complemented by an intelligent SCU control unit, which enables simple operation via a modern color display and monitors various operating parameters in real time. This means that the IMPAKTOR 350 EVO II can not only be controlled precisely, but also operated particularly economically.

Typical applications for the IMPAKTOR 350 EVO II can be found in the processing of construction and demolition waste, waste wood, root wood, track sleepers, commercial waste, electrical waste and much more. The machine masters both soft and hard materials with ease and delivers uniform fractions that are ideally suited for the subsequent recycling process.

The construction of the IMPAKTOR 350 EVO II was designed for maximum ease of maintenance. Hydraulically opening hoods ensure quick access to the drive unit and shafts. The discharge conveyor is also height-adjustable and can be flexibly adjusted depending on the space available. Despite its high performance, the machine operates at a practical noise level, making it suitable for use in more sensitive environments.

With the IMPAKTOR 350 EVO II, ARJES Impaktor GmbH is setting a clear example for powerful, compact and future-proof shredding technology. The combination of powerful motorization, high mobility, innovative technology and simple operation makes this machine the ideal solution for versatile recycling tasks on the construction site and in the plant.

Focus on outstanding properties

Transportstellung Impaktor 350 EVO II

Reduced transport and working height

Due to the reduced transport height to approx. 255 cm, sea container collections are possible without dismantling the hopper walls and the maximum loading height for trucks is generally not exceeded.

Schnellwechselsystem für Werkzeugwellen

Revised quick-change cassette

The improved quick-change cassette ensures a significantly longer operating time as the pressure during the crushing process is no longer exerted on the fastening bolts, but on the entire machine.

Manually insertable waveform plates

By inserting or removing the plates, the gap width may be modified and thus the final grain size adjusted. In case of worn cutting blades, the plate can be rotated and reinserted several times.

ATTACHMents

With a wide range of optional attachments, the IMPAKTOR 350 EVO II can be tailored even more precisely to specific requirements and materials. Whether for fine separation, targeted fractionation or to increase the sorting quality – the add-on components significantly expand the range of functions of the compact twin-shaft shredder and ensure even more efficient material recovery.

The optional overbelt magnets, which are used to separate ferrous metals from the material flow, are particularly noteworthy – either in a longitudinal or transverse design, depending on the spatial situation and material flow. Various sieve technology solutions are available for granulometric separation, including disc screens, finger screens, studded belt conveyors and the classic sieve basket. These enable targeted classification into different fractions and significantly improve the end product quality.

Fast and tool-free integration of attachments plays a key role, especially with the IMPAKTOR 350 EVO II, which was designed for flexible use in construction site and recycling operations. The selection of the right accessories depends on the material being processed, the desired particle size target and the operating conditions.

With the right accessories, the IMPAKTOR 350 EVO II develops into a perfectly coordinated system – powerful, versatile and future-proof for every challenge in mobile and stationary shredding technology.

SIEVE BASKET

The IMPAKTOR 350 EVO II provides a clear advantage in daily operations thanks to the ability to precisely control the output material using a range of interchangeable screen baskets. Positioned directly beneath the shredding unit, the optional sieve basket plays a crucial role in determining the grain size and overall quality of the output. This enables the machine to be perfectly tailored to various operational requirements – whether processing coarse waste wood, construction debris, or finer recyclable fractions.

A selection of screen baskets with different mesh sizes is available for a variety of materials, including wood (e.g. 110×100 mm), concrete (e.g. 110×60 mm or 110×40 mm), or electronic waste (e.g. 50×50 mm, 40×40 mm, 30×30 mm – available upon request). The baskets can be swapped out tool-free and in just a few minutes, offering a major benefit for operations dealing with frequently changing materials or output specifications.

When combined with the flexible twin-shaft system of the IMPAKTOR 350 EVO II, this configuration ensures a highly efficient material flow and a consistently controlled output – whether intended for direct reuse as a secondary raw material, further processing, or compliance with recycling standards. Using screen baskets not only enhances throughput performance but also improves the quality of the output, ultimately increasing the overall cost-effectiveness of the shredding process.

Available shafts

The IMPAKTOR 350 EVO II is not only compact and powerful, but also exceptionally versatile in its shaft configuration. The modular twin-shaft system is the heart of the machine and is decisive for the efficiency and final result of the shredding process. Specially developed shaft types are available for different types of material – including concrete shafts, paddle shafts, wood shafts and combination shafts – which can be exchanged quickly and easily depending on requirements.

Thanks to the proven quick-change system, the shaft pairs can be changed in no time at all without the need for time-consuming disassembly work. This allows the machine to react flexibly to changing locations and material conditions – be it construction waste, waste wood, rubber, mixed waste or even light metals. The robust design of the shafts ensures a long service life, while the targeted adjustment to the shredded material enables a uniform particle size and high throughput.

This flexibility makes the IMPAKTOR 350 EVO II the ideal solution for companies that frequently work with different materials or require quick changeover times in their day-to-day business. Whether stationary or mobile in use – with the right pair of shafts, one machine becomes a real all-rounder.
